PBI Luxembourg
Peace Brigades International (PBI) offers unarmed international protective accompaniment to human rights activists, internally displaced persons, and communities threatened with violence. PBI activities are supported by individual members and country groups around the world, including Luxembourg.
Our group became an official PBI Country Group in July 2000.
Our priorities are :
- Maintaining and activating the Emergency Response Network
- Networking with partner organizations
- Fundraising for PBI projects
- Publicizing and promoting the work of PBI by spreading information about the work of the teams in the field, producing promotional material, and organizing events with human rights activists accompanied by PBI
- Recruiting and training volunteers for PBI teams
